This isn’t an April fool!
From 1st April 2017, the National Minimum Wage rates increase:
21 – 24 £7.05 per hour
18 – 20 £5.60 per hour
16 – 17 £4.05 per hour
Apprentice rate (under 19 or over 19 and in the first year of their apprenticeship) £3.50 per hour.
The National Living Wage rate increases to £7.50 per hour for all workers aged 25 and older.
These rates will now be increased every April, replacing the October increases.
