
National Minimum Wage
From 1st April 2018:
National Living Wage (Employees aged 25 and over) – £ 7.83 per hour
The new National Minimum Wage rates are going up to:
21-24 £ 7.38 per hour
18-20 £ 5.90 per hour
16 & 17 £ 4.20 per hour
The Apprentice rate (Under 19 or over 19 and in their first year of apprenticeship) is £ 3.70 per hour
Accommodation provided by the Employer can be offset against the National Living and Minimum wage at a rate of £7 per day or £49 per week. www.gov.uk/national-minimum-wage-accommodation
(No other kind of company benefit counts towards the minimum wages rates.)

Deductions from wages may impact on these hourly rates and therefore unlawfully bring the employee’s pay below the minimum level.
