
National Minimum Wage
From 1st April 2022:
National Living Wage (Employees aged 23 and over) – £ 9.50 per hour
The new National Minimum Wage rates are going up to:
21-24 £ 9.18 per hour
18-20 £ 6.83 per hour
16 & 17 £ 4.81 per hour
The Apprentice rate (Under 19 or over 19 and in their first year of apprenticeship) is £ 4.81 per hour
Accommodation provided by the Employer can be offset against the National Living and Minimum wage at a rate of £8.70 per day or £60.90 per week. www.gov.uk/national-minimum-wage-accommodation

Deductions from wages may impact on these hourly rates and therefore unlawfully bring the employee’s pay below the minimum level.
