National Living and Minimum Wage Rates from 1st April 2025

From 1st April 2025:

 

National Living Wage (Employees aged 21 and over) – £ 12.21 per hour

 

The new National Minimum Wage rates are going up to:

 

18-20     £ 10.00 per hour

 

16 & 17   £ 7.55 per hour

 

The Apprentice rate (Under 19 or over 19 and in their first year of apprenticeship) is £ 7.55 per hour

 

Accommodation provided by the Employer can be offset against the National Living and Minimum wage at a rate of £10.66 per day or £74.62 per week.  www.gov.uk/national-minimum-wage-accommodation

Deductions from wages may impact on these hourly rates and therefore unlawfully bring the employee’s pay below the minimum level.
